CAFÉ Y CIGARROS X (2018)

Café y Cigarros X is a remake inspired on this occasion by the aesthetics and work of the emblematic filmmaker Tarantino. A new work that inevitably refers to the films of the 90s. Built on a farcical tone, it reminds us of Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs, and Dusk Till Dawn. Music, aesthetics, surrealism, and the absurd inspire the choreographic construction, seeking the perfect pretext to recreate anecdotes of the multiple possibilities that can arise when found in the shadow of coffee smoke or a cigarette.

Café y Cigarros X es un remake inspirado en esta ocasión, en la estética y obra del emblemático cineasta Tarantino. Un nuevo trabajo que inevitablemente remite a los filmes de los 90’s.

 

Construida sobre un tono fársico, nos recuerda a Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Perros de Reserva, Del crepúsculo al amanecer. Música, estética, surrealismo y absurdo inspiran la construcción coreográfica buscan el pretexto perfecto para recrear anécdotas de las múltiples posibilidades que se pueden dar al encontrarse a la sombra del humo del café o de un cigarro.
